We rented a practice space in Oakland and brought in every musical item we all owned and just sat in there for a month, waiting for the thunderous metal bands next door to stop for one second to hit record. On our previous album, Offend Maggie, we did that pretty straight forward and in a studio so we only had a few days to knock it out.
