Hearing the unnatural silence of a venue get disrupted by your muffled conversations. I miss it wildly. I've made important friends at those shows, and created life long memories at the venues I've been able to perform at. I played my first headline show at @waitingroomn16 in Islington, and I forgot my laptop charger and my laptop almost died halfway through the set, but from the back of the room @alfiebrowncomedian passed one through the crowd so I could keep playing. At @thetroubadour in LA is where I met one of my now closest friends, @aaronpaul who introduced me to @sophiabush , who then invited me to LIVE WITH HER when I moved to Chicago a few months later. Meeting them led me to meet countless other people I now call my best friends. I met one of my first managers at @camdenassembly in Camden at a show I almost didn't play because I was too depressed. These places have changed my life, as I'm sure they have yours too. It's time for us to give back. This week is Independent Venue Week.
