Dima is a silver fox, but he and his sister have white spots on their chest, head, feet’s, and tail. He actually has what looks like a sock on his back foot- it’s adorable! These spots are due to a mutation called the star mutation (on them, not all white spots are a result of this mutation on foxes). This gene is linked to domestication. Dima is a Russian domesticated fox and is from the institute of cytology and genetics. Dima is short for Dmitriy (although we usually just call him D-man)! . Both Dima and his sister are very very verbal- by far the loudest of the group!! They are a bit emotional and have been seen pouting if they don’t get enough attention. He is being trained in nose work by @barkingatnothin and general training with Cat Intoci of Serius Dog Training. He is going to be an amazing Ambassador and Has stolen my heart! .
