“My mom was an entrepreneur and as a girl, I saw her doing her own thing – so confident. I saw someone that looked like me, that created me, who really chased her dreams. So when it came time for me to do it, I believed I could do it… Selling hair care is one of the biggest things I do, but the idea that what I’m doing can inspire young Black girls to know that they matter and know that they can do what they want is one of the most important things.”
