FEB 5, 2020 - I hadn’t even heard the name Covid yet and was in the airport bathroom taking this picture before boarding a flight for the launch of my PopGlam hair care line with @ogx_beauty - first going to Canada for their launch then going to NYC. I had no idea this would be my last time going on a plane for a long time, being out in public without a mask and not realizing how extra grateful I should be for going to eat indoors in NYC. 2. February 5, 2021...none of my “fitted” clothes, including jeans, from February 2020, fit me anymore. I’ve become inseparable BFFs with my house. I also had an accident (if you missed it, there’s a link in my bio to a youtube video) with a huge glass bowl, that broke and the weight of the heavy bowl went down in my hand and severed a nerve. At the hospital they didn’t realize that & stitched my hand back up after making sure it didn’t hit the bone & needed to stop the bleeding. Nerve damage pain began 3-4 days later & thanks to a follower who DM’ed to get to a hand specialist ASAP. THE PAIN WAS UNBEARABLE- every second of the day, it felt like someone was sawing my thumb off & hammering a nail into the top of my thumb, bursting through the skin then pounding it deep into my bone. Enter @drcohenhandsurgeon (one of the best hand surgeons in the world)...with nerve damage you need surgery fast to save the nerve. I don’t want to gross anyone out with the pics here, but the nerve is the size of a spaghetti noodle and the thread @drcohenhandsurgeon used was thinner than a human hair, to microscopically reattach my severed nerve. Also I’ve never had surgery (not even for my leg accident- it was just lots of sutures), never gone under anesthesia and @drcohenhandsurgeon & his entire surgical staff were the sweetest! My nerve is still angry & traumatized & feels crazy but he reattached it. And I’ve been doing therapy treatments and will be wearing “Shiela” my brace for a while, so welcome her in all upcoming posts!😂 I can’t thank you enough for all your prayers...those who watched my stories know what I was going through🥺 Thank you all for loving me & your prayers❤️🙏」2月10日 11時57分
