Sentenced to LIFE in prison at the age of 16, Halim began crafting his method of artistic expression to find some sense of peace during his 22 years of incarceration. FALSLEY accused, he was released in 2019 by the Incarceration Reduction Amendment Act of 2016. In the short time since, he has created a stunning body of work @ideallionaires comprised of a benevolent mission forged and galvanized over decades in a cell. “My mission is to love everyone unconditionally, all of the time. Through my Love Reformation, my purpose is to live the love that I want to see in the world to inspire others to love radically beyond the superficial barriers that serve to separate us, barriers that obscure the fact that we are all connected to each other.” With comparisons to Jean-Michel Basquiat, Halim’s work has been exhibited in galleries across the country and shown at The Museum of Modern Art in New York City as well as @dtrmodern .
