It’s weird having a “verified public figure” account because everyone thinks that this is a well-oiled machine of intention and vanity. Which - LOL. Anyway. I’ve found myself struggling with my mental health, and I realized that no matter how many things I do “right” (like exercise, vitamins, sleep), there are enough things happening that are out of my control that can negatively impact. It turns out that in my experience, PPA & PPD are far more likely with my boy pregnancies. When you have enough kids of both sexes, you become your own case study! 🎉 I fact, I didn’t have either with my 3 girls, but I did with my 3 boys. I’m ok. I’ll be ok. But I wanted to be transparent for sake of being real and connecting with anyone else who is struggling. Things are sucky in the world right now, but prioritizing ourselves is key. Medication or exercise or therapy or all of the above. I support you! It gets better. While I’m here, can we stop commenting on other people’s bodies? Postpartum and otherwise, please. It’s unnecessary at best. ❤️」2月18日 3時45分 - mommasgonecity
