In 2020, Rashad launched Camp Yoshi, an experiential collective that creates space for Black people and allies to unplug and reconnect with the wilderness. For Camp Yoshi's first adventure to the Alvord Desert, Rashad and his companions used a combination of Snow Peak tents, tarps, camp furniture and cookware for a comfortable and shaded setup.
