Forced isolation didn’t give me the ability to escape myself and through that I realized that I’ve been suffering greatly with my mental conditions. I’ve lived with the diagnosis of an anxiety disorder for twenty-four years but this year I became aware there was much more at play and I sought help. I’ve slowed down a lot on social media because of these new discoveries, and I share in the hopes that some of you who feel they are suffering ask a doctor for help. If that doctor doesn’t help, find another. Your friends & family can support you but ultimately it’s up to you to make the decision for yourself. If your thinking doesn’t feel right, if your reactions don’t feel right, if you are noticing things that are upsetting you do not gloss them over simply because you can function with your main daily tasks.
