The exhibition “Cartier: Passing on Heritage and Savoir-Faire – Masterpieces from the Hermitage Museum and the Cartier Collection” represents the crowning achievement of five years of collaboration between Cartier and the Hermitage Museum, for the restoration of five pieces from the Hermitage Museum’s collection. As an echo to each of its objects, Cartier has chosen to present pieces from its heritage collection highlighting the bonds that unite Cartier with exceptional artistic crafts.

A remarkable example of the Maison’s work with gold, this vanity case with faceted and calibré-cut sapphires reminds Renaissance inspiration. Vanity cases offer the perfect surfaces for the Maison to realize refined decoration.
