Phew, with the tropical storms that pass through Miami, we’re glad we thought ahead on finding a solution to Remix’s noise aversion issues. You guys might recall that Remix gets severe anxiety from the sounds of rain and thunder that are no good for his quality of life, nor his human’s who has to stay up with him late at night.

We’ve been using the first FDA-approved prescription medication for the treatment of noise aversion in dogs. We did lots of research and consulted our vet before giving it a try. So far, Remix has been responding so well to it! Before, he couldn’t be 2 feet from a window during a storm. Now he doesn’t mind so much 😊.
