It took me and my team 12 hours to set up the rope art exhibit that I made in my studio in Tokyo. My friend Lisa was the model and we tightly bound her with ropes into a meditative position. Through her experience she was able to sustain for about 15 min. In that 15 min we suspended her from the installation and team @rpm.tokyo scanned her with lidar and photographed the exhibit to create the textures. rpm.studio/kinoko 247vfx and RPM’s Art Director and VFX Supervisor performed magic in creating a high resolution 3D model far exceeding specs and limitations of modern AR. Pioneering a new art form and merging art and technology into a new medium for all to enjoy.
