As you may or may not know, AT&T is now the Official 5G Innovation Partner of the NBA and WNBA! AT&T is bridging technology and sports to deliver fans immersive experiences in sports - whether that be in a stadium, on the go or at home. Why should you care? This could be game changing for niche sports, say like fencing, to help promote and spread awareness and love for the sport. This is obviously important to me as one of my main goals is to make fencing a more popular sport. Certain sports don’t get the same media attention or sponsorship opportunities because people don’t understand the sport. AT&T and their innovation could help change that.
