Every time they use my name in the @ニューヨーク・タイムズ crossword puzzle, I get all giddy. (Thanks to everyone who sent it to me this week!) I know that we have been fed what “success” should look like — but for me, it’s been less red carpets, events, & magazine covers & more healing, family time, & planning for what’s next. This year was full of the biggest blessings & I had to really remind myself how much progress I’ve made compared to the darkness I was in 2+ years ago.
I guess what I’m saying is: it takes time for things to bloom, it doesn’t happen right when you plant it. Be patient with yourself. Be kind to yourself. You’re right where you should be. 💘
