HAROSHIさんのインスタグラム写真 - (HAROSHIInstagram)「2015年から約7年間、大阪の万博公園の横にある商業施設HLNA park Osakaに展示していただいた作品が、商業施設の入れ替わりに伴い、今月の10日にその役目を終えます。なので、この作品を見ることができるのもあと5日です。作るのは本当に大変で、予算をほとんど全て使って、友人総動員で夜中まで三ヶ月くらいやっても、搬入当日の朝になんとか完成するという、いままでで最も製作がハードな作品でありました。いつか僕がパブリックアートを作ることがあるのなら、必ずスケボーができる形にしてやろう！と思い、この巡ってきたチャンスを生かして作りました。細かく切ったスケボーを曲げてRを作る技法はこの後”Mosh Pit”へと変化していきますが、7年前のこの時は、まだあのアイデアは生まれていませんでした。大好きなGaudiのグエル公園の、B品のタイルを砕いてR面に貼れるようにした破砕タイルの技法を参考に破砕スケボー？を編み出したわけですが、よくよく考えてみればガウディみたいにハンマーで簡単に割れるわけでなく、全てのカットを糸鋸で切らなければいけないので、膨大な時間がかかってしまったわけなのです。このあと、作品はどんどん小さくなっていきます、大きいものに懲りたのでしょう笑。もしお近くにお寄りの際はぜひお立ち寄りくださいませ〜。✌️ 場所　HLNA ZONE OSAKA Expocity On the 10th of this month, this sculpture that has been exhibited in Osaka for about 7 years since 2015 will finish its role. So we have only 5 days left to see this work. It was the hardest work I've ever done, and even after spending almost all of my budget and mobilizing all of my friends to work until midnight for about three months, I managed to complete it on the morning of the installation day. If I ever make a public art piece, I'll make it skateboardable! So I took advantage of the opportunity that came my way and made it. The technique of bending small pieces of skateboards to make an "R" was later transformed into the "Mosh Pit", but the idea hadn't come to me yet seven years ago. I created the crushed skateboard by referring to the crushed tile technique of my favorite park, Park Güell by master Gaudi. But when I thought about it, it was not as easy to break with a hammer as Gaudi's, and all the cuts had to be made with a table saw, so it took a lot of time. After this, my artwork became smaller and smaller, probably because I learned from the bigger ones.
