THE FIRST EVENT OF THE YEAR TO PRAY FOR PEACE AND ORDER THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.

For seven days from New Year’s Day to January 7, this annual event is held in front of the principal image in the nainaijin (the innermost sanctuary) in the Main Hall. Prayers for a huge harvest, the safety of loved ones, good business, and world peace are offered. Wishing for perfect health, visitors can receive gou-houin on the forehead, a stamp which has magic powers to avert evil like a talisman and gokozui, a sip of healing water.

一年間の安寧を祈願する年頭行事
元旦より7日間、本堂内々陣の御本尊御宝前において五穀豊穣、家内安全、商売繁盛、世界平和などを祈願します。参詣者には無病息災を念じて、額に朱印を押す「牛玉宝印」や「御香水」が授与されます。
