Jason Brassard amassed a legendary collection of rare video games, many still in pristine condition. But early one morning, his safe—full of some of the most valuable games on earth—was stolen. Though not everyone was sympathetic, such collectibles can attract huge sums; last year, a sealed copy of the first print of Super Mario Bros. for the NES sold for $2 million. “Those games were my retirement plan,” Brassard tells @JustinHeckert.
