“I wake up when everyone’s sleeping. The city is silent. It’s just my breath and the sound of my steps on the ground. It doesn’t matter where I’m going. Running is not about destination, it’s all about the journey. It’s that place and time in between where I am and where I want to be.

To me running is imagination, yet it can be what takes me where I have always just imagined to be. Run after run I’m striving to make that place real. I’m on my own, feet in my shoes, I can go any direction I choose.
