Since she was rescued she has been in rehabilitation to bring her back to health. While her transformation from the last four months has been great, she still has a long way to go before she is fully healthy. She’s steadily gaining weight and muscle. The tooth abscess on her face is being quite difficult to heal and is starting to become painful for her. We have been working with vets to try and get it to heal without having to extract the tooth. Unfortunately it’s not healing and she will have to get the infected tooth extracted. She has made massive strides in becoming halter broke and comfortable with us. She’s doing really well with desensitizing and pressure training. We’re still working on baths and lunging but she’s getting better and more comfortable with it every time we do it. She picks up all four feet and has even seen the fairer and had her feet trimmed multiple times now. I’ve learned so much from whisper already and I can’t wait to see what else we will learn together. Thank you to everyone who has helped us get to where we are.
