We hereby inform you that Koki Niwa, a player of Svenson Holdings Co.Ltd., will retire from the international matches since November 1st, 2022.

Koki Niwa, who has represented Japan National Team members in numerous international competitions and won men's team medals at the Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo Olympics for 14 years since competing at the 50th World Table Tennis Championships in individual events in Yokohama at the age of 14 in 2009, has been one of the Japan's core players for many years.

In the future, he will continue to focus on the T League and domestic competitions. Please support Koki Niwa as always.

"I announced my retirement from the international competition this time. After the Tokyo Olympic Games, I want to give the baton to the next generation and cheer for them.
In the 14 years since I entered the national team for the first time, I have spent half of my life as a representative player of Japan, accumulated a lot of experience and grown a lot. I really appreciate all the people who supported me.
Although it is a paragraph of retiring from international competitions, I will also participate in domestic leagues and competitions as a professional table tennis player in the future, and carry out activities to publicize the fun and charm of table tennis as much as possible. 株式会社スヴェンソンホールディングス所属の丹羽孝希（にわ こうき）選手が、2022年11月1日（火）をもって国際大会から引退したことをお知らせ致します。

丹羽孝希選手は、2009年に横浜で開催された第50回世界卓球選手権個人戦に14歳で出場して以来、14年間に渡り日本代表として多くの国際大会に出場し、リオデジャネイロオリンピック・東京オリンピックでは男子団体にてメダルを獲得するなど、日本の中心選手の1人として長年活躍を続けて参りました。
今後は、Tリーグや日本国内の試合を中心に選手活動を続けて参りますので、今後とも丹羽孝希選手へのご声援をよろしくお願い致します。

「この度、国際大会を引退しましたことをご報告致します。東京オリンピック以降、次の世代にバトンを渡しその活躍を応援したいと思うようになりました。
初めて代表入りしてから14年間、人生の半分を日本代表選手として活動し多くの経験を積んで成長することができました。応援していただいた皆様に本当に感謝しております。
