I inherited his resilience and learnt that sacrifice and stubbornness when harnessed correctly can help you achieve exactly what you want. He taught me about music, art, exploring different cuisines - and of course that Chelsea FC is the superior football club. He only encouraged me when I decided to move across the globe and our coffee date catch ups are now some of my favourite days. He is a cancer survivor (cancer free since 2016!!), and we conquered a mountain together after his hip replacement. He loves my mum, my brother and I more than anything. It’s an honour to be his daughter, to share each others dreams, and to have lived and worked in our shared passions of music, and track and field.
