Our Orchard Experiment’s journey began in Somerset, a county in the southwest of England where our Malt Master Brian Kinsman met Matilda Temperley, who runs The Somerset Cider Brandy Company.

Once Brian got a handful of these incredibly rare Somerset Pomona Spirit casks back to the Glenfiddich Distillery in Scotland, he was excited to see what extra fruit flavours they would add to our aged whisky. After just four months spent finishing in Warehouse 9, the results were astonishing.
