Couloir hunting w @adrianballinger & @samkieck 🙌🏻 thanks Sam for lining this one up from below as the exit looked pretty improbable from above! A week back in Europe and the vastness and exposure is starting to feel a bit more comfortable. I’d compare skiing in the Alps to big wall climbing in Yosemite - everything just feels big and intimidating at first. It also takes quite a bit more effort, especially this year with the lack of snow (some on the way hopefully 🤞🏻). It’s an adventurous, thoughtful, and interesting environment to move through and I really enjoy all aspects of it - even the part where bushwhacking is involved :) @thenorthface_snow @petzl_official @tincupwhiskey @kodiakcakes
