So many unknown artists I've worked with start off strong, then suddenly fall off as soon as they get a trickle of fame from being associated with us. This sudden burst of attention goes straight to their heads and they literally go slightly insane. Then they fall off and blame Die Antwoord for all their problems. I've seen this happen many, many times. These artists are usually 2% talent and 98% fuckin idiot. However, every now and again Heaven smiles on us, and we discover uncut diamonds in the rough, who were born with 2% talent, 98% hustle, the patience of the stalker, and the humility of a Shoalin monk. These are the ones we fuck with heavy. These are the ones who understand that to master The Secrets Of Success takes mad blood, sweat and tears. Success is a super elusive, super seductive thing.
