Years ago we met Mr Kuroda, a Sake Master in Paris and he taught us so many beautiful things not only about sake but Japanese culture. And life.

After one of our shows in Osaka 10 years ago we decided we’d create our own sake, a very minimalistic one together with @tatenokawa_sake one of the best sake breweries.

Sadly Mr. Kuroda passed away too soon, but in his memory and as testament of our love for Japan we’ve continued producing bottles every year (with the wonderful breweries Tatenokawa, Laze Nomori, Sohomare), the benefits of which we donate to non-profit organizations.

The adventure continues as we just produced 500 bottles of a wonderful Junmai Daiginjo of Yamanadagishi rice (18% polished)

It is now available in Japan (online and at select stores) as well as in Paris (at @workshop_isse). Later this year, a few bottles will also be available in the US

This very special sake is a one-time only production
