Okay, so many of you have already seen these covers reposted a ton on your timeline today, but please don't let that stop you from helping me celebrate my very first British Vogue Covers! 🥹 I say covers because there are FOUR of them 😭.

So this is the part I tell my age😅

Some of you who are just learning my name may not know the journey it took to get here. As a hairstylist who came up in the fashion industry pre-social media, like when you had to have a college.edu to even access Facebook, I would purchase fashion magazines to admire the beautiful editorials. This is back when we had to look between the binding of the magazines to find out the name of the artists who played a role in the shoots. We used to hustle our 9x12 or 11x14 portfolio around town to get work… I mean, we hustled! So these covers are a full-circle moment for so many reasons.
I have memories of baby Lace working backstage, admiring the work of @diane.kendal as an assistant, and discovering Deborah Lipman's work. It is not lost on me how far I've come.
To the girls - Precious and Paloma, we've worked together on e-commerce jobs and editorials earlier in our careers, and now finally, seeing you ladies get the accolades you deserve has been satisfying to watch. Jill, whom I've had the pleasure of meeting on this shoot, thank you for your trust and for being so kind and easygoing. Ladies, you deserve all the blessings!
Gabi, I still need that jumpsuit, please, and thank you! So proud of you, and so proud of us!
My hair team, Francis and Kaprisha, I truly could not have done this without you! Thank you for being there! 🫶🏾
