It’s my first time bouldering in Font and, as one of our friends told us before the trip, it’s even better than the hype. Baby June is thriving in the forest, I’m adapting to the slopey, non-hold style, and we’re generally having a good time with friends. The other day I did my first circuit (the whites at Isatis) and it was quite an experience - it felt a lot like big wall free climbing even though I was never more than 20ft off the ground. The fatigue by the end of the day, the psychological side (some of the problems were rather serious…), and the foot pain all felt like I was up on a big wall. The boulders have a lot to offer!
