After one heck of a sick week, it felt really nice getting ready today 🙌🏽 Something as simple as taking a hot shower, putting on a little makeup and getting out of sweats. 🤪 Instant gratification! Being pregnant is one thing but adding sickness takes it next level 😵 I’m super limited in the meds department and it’s taken longer for me to bounce back because baby is getting all the good stuff! Ha! And honestly coughing and being pregnant are two things that should not co-exist (IYKUK 💦)

All that aside, I am on the mend and praise God for panty liners! 🤪 real talk tho, I learned that rest comes with risk. Life feels a little wonky when you’re thrown off your “regular scheduled programming” — but it can also be beautiful when you’re forced to go with the slow. Like seeing my girls come lay with me on the couch at 3pm on a Tuesday to watch a movie or watching my husband graciously step in and be the best caretaker to all my needs. Life will throw punches at you every now and then, and I’m learning it might be because it forces us to stop and appreciate what we have.

So here’s a reminder for anyone who needs it: it’s okay to lean into the wonky days and practice true rest. Maybe it’s not something all the cool kids are doing but it’s necessary and so worth it. Prioritize your health, take your vitamins and always see the good 💫 #grwm #momdiaries #pregnantlife
