💥💥💥💥 I’m actually shocked at the strength of feeling in this huge response to my post. THANK YOU ! It shows that the vast majority of people are opposed to this kind of irresponsible institutional behaviour. This is a moment when I hope the Press will jump in and help us seek out those who perpetrated this crime against Nature, and then lied about the intent. And make sure this never happens again. This is tragic destruction of habitat right here in Britain. At the junction of the M25 and the A3, thousands of acres of forest have been brutally bulldozed, presumably in the name of speeding traffic interchange. All done in the season where all the wildlife would have been hibernating - all destroyed. I would like to know WHO MADE THIS DECISION ? Did anybody ask us ? Was it debated ? Where were #DEFRA ? Where were #naturalengland ? Why is nobody speaking up for the Natural World ? Alongside the unforgivable destruction of the countryside by the building of the pointless HS2 - this is a disgrace.
