We had to forego any medal attempts to make sure we hit numbers to improve my world ranking for Olympic qualification. Had I made my lifts, we would have had both. When you’re in this sport at the elite level for just under a decade, you’ll get your fair share of “unfair” calls. You take them, you cry about it for a little & then you move on. I am no stranger to being “robbed” & I’m sure it’ll happen again. (See @atginsta for explanation) All I can do is be better at the next one. The lifts I did make were some of the best technical lifts of my career. So I’ll take that & continue forward. If there’s anything I know about myself, it’s that I’m a damn good fighter.
