They make all their ice cream on site with fresh ingredients and you can taste the difference. Her favorite flavor is Peppermint Chip. 2) Davey’s East Village location closed during the pandemic (which was pretty devastating), but in the happiest turn of events ever, it reopened earlier this year on the same block as the March Hare- East 9th Street between 1st and 2nd Avenues. So if you come visit our little toy shop, you should definitely stop at Davey’s for a cone. 3) Davey’s ice cream has been such a staple during Mazzy’s 13 years of life that she asked if we could have a Davey’s station at her Bat Mitzvah. Since we’ve been such good customers, they said ABSOLUTELY. I don’t have any pics of Mazzy eating her favorite flavor at the Bat Mitzvah or the swarms of kids and adults lined up to get a cone (for once in my life, I didn’t have my camera!) but you can swipe to see a pic of the station.
