Happy Birthday, PGC! 🎉

🇺🇸 On April 6, 1980, Palazzo Venier dei Leoni opened to the public as a museum for the very first time, quicky becoming a prestigious institution thanks to its prized collection and its rich calendar of exhibitions and educational programs. For the 43 years it has been active, the PGC has never stopped welcoming and enchanting visitors, becoming one of the world’s most beloved attractions and leading light for twentieth-century art.

🇮🇹 Il 6 aprile del 1980 Palazzo Venier dei Leoni apriva per la prima volta le porte come museo, diventando un’istituzione prestigiosa grazie alla sua preziosa collezione e al ricco calendario di attività espositive ed educative. In questi 43 anni di attività la PGC non ha mai smesso di accogliere e incantare visitatrici e visitatori, diventando uno tra i luoghi più amati al mondo e punto di riferimento per l’arte del XX secolo.
