I feel stuck, lost and irritated.   As a mental health advocate it's my duty to share with you what's going on so that you don't feel alone in your own mental health struggle.   I know this will pass and that it’s a season but when you are in it, it feels like it's consuming.   Some things that have helped me get unstuck when I'm feeling this way....  - Spend time with people you love. Community is so important and being alone with your thoughts sometimes isn't the best idea.  - Exercise. Exercise releases endorphines and when you feel low or anxious exercise is an amazing tool in helping you feel better.   - Be compassionate towards yourself. It's just a bad day, week. Not a bad life. EVERYONE goes through these moments.   - Accept the season you are in. Label it. This is my reflection season. This is my season of rest. This is my season of healing. Having a name helps you know it's finite.   - Rest. Hustle culture is real and we feel that if we aren't achieving daily then we are worthless. This is such a dangerous cycle.  Our bodies need to rest to recover to be our best selves.  - As tempting as it is, don't consume junk. In food form they make us feel better and then drop us lower than before. Nourish your body with warming foods. Soups, stews, oatmeal etc. These foods help elevate feel good chemicals throughout the day.   - Get off anything that makes your feel lesser than. Unfollow anyone that makes you not like what you see in the mirror. Consume content that makes you grow, learn and be a better human.  Know that I'm with you.  DM me anytime. How’s your mental health lately?

I don't know about you but between the news and highlight reels on social media I'm not feeling it.

I feel stuck, lost and irritated.

As a mental health advocate it's my duty to share with you what's going on so that you don't feel alone in your own mental health struggle.

I know this will pass and that it’s a season but when you are in it, it feels like it's consuming.
