Heatherwick said in a TED talk, "I'd rather build a building that will last 1,000 years than a building that will last only 40 years." I think the buildings they design will leave a lasting impression even after 1,000 years. Anyone who sees a building designed by them will say, "What is that building?" A space where there is nature, people gather, there are buildings, and everything coexists. "Buildings and objects are just an excuse, or rather an invitation, for us all to come together and share the experience" Heatherwick told the magazine. I strongly believe that different perspectives and thoughts will be created through the building. I was spinning in this chair over and over again. I want this at home. ヘザウィック・スタジオ展へ。「40年しか残らない建物よりも1000年後も残る建物を作りたい。」ヘザウィックがTEDトークでそうおっしゃっていた通り、この建物は1000年後も残るのではないかと思うくらいに、どの建物もインパクトが大きい。「あの建物なに？」と建物を外観から見ると、誰もが好奇心を掻き立てられるに違いない。自然があり、人が集まり、建物があり、全てが共存している空間。「建物やオブジェは、体験を共有するための、口実、もしくは招待状のようなものに過ぎません」と雑誌にて語っていたが、建物を通して違った観点や思考が生み出されるに違いないと強く思う。佇まいも洗礼されていて、とてもとても好きで、浸かっていたい空間。　回る椅子で、何度も何度も回っちゃいました。椅子だけど、椅子って言う概念が一旦無くなる。これ、家に置きたい。 #heatherwickstudio」4月12日 7時22分
