July Kabukiza Theater, I will be playing in the soiree part.
Upon the 120th memorial year of Ichikawa Danjuro IX’s passing away, we will be performing ‘Shizuka Horaku-mai,’ which is one of the Shin Kabuki Juhachiban collection (The New Kabuki Eighteen) that was assembled by him.
And we have other classical plays as well in the lineup. Creating opportunity for young actors to challenge traditional acts, and myself challenging too, to play a classical sewamono (plays on stories about the common people of Edo period).

七月の歌舞伎座、

九代目市川團十郎没後百二十年に

九代目市川團十郎が制定した

静法楽舞。
