But Talia’s posting of message was nothing to do with me. This is actually purely spontaneous, but it’s also exactly how I feel. We at Save-Me are hoping to take action against those responsible for this hideous decision - but of course nobody can bring that whole eco system back. And the irony is that we as a nation are so clever at telling other countries what to do with their forests ! I feel more than ever that a complete revision of our attitude to the Natural World is needed at Government level — NOW. Our Compassionate Army needs to march - against this kind of violence against Nature, against disgustingly irresponsible events like the Grand National, against the continuation under cover of lies of blood sports, and against the most awful crime against our native wild animals of recent times - the killing of roughly a quarter of a million entirely innocent badgers - in a tragically mistaken AND NOW UTTERLY FAILED effort to control bovine TB. We need a change of government - but much more than that - we need a complete change in priorities in government - away from greed and corruption, and towards decency for all.
