I was in a restaurant with my newborn son. Mr. Belafonte walked in, saw my son, and took it upon himself to bless him. He didn’t know me, my son, or my story. He didn’t know the miracle that had finally given this child to me. But he understood his legacy. He walked through the world, in my opinion, mindful of passing it down.
