Celebrating the Brooklyn way! 🥂

We’re still reliving last night’s #BkArtistsBall where we had the chance to honor the vision and legacy of Carrie Mae Weems (@carriemaeweems). We owe immense gratitude to Mickalene Thomas (@mickalenethomas) for collaborating with @クリスチャンディオール to reimagine our Beaux-Arts Court with one-of-a-kind backdrops, table settings and decor inspired by Weems’s series Slow Fade to Black (2010), which highlights Black women in popular culture.

Thank you to @celeste, Swizz Beatz (@スウィズ・ビーツ), and DJ Runna (@therealdjrunna) for setting immaculate vibes and to Shaniqwa Jarvis (@sheekswinsalways) for creating a photo booth for us to immortalize the evening made possible by Dior.
