When I started painting this new series, I wanted it to be personal to the way I see the world, what is beauty to me; that’s why Japanese interiors are one of my inspirations. I love how you can find so much beauty in the simplicity of the interiors, how the light play an important roll, and how the lines are so straight and clean. This represents my way of thinking/ living: I have always work on myself to have a clean mind, free from negative thoughts and a clean environment, something that for me is very important to be able to stay motivated and organised.
