The most important thing I prioritize is my inner peace. After years of suffering from anxiety that stemmed from childhood trauma and spending several more years focusing on healing and growing, inner peace has become my north star.
The question I always ask myself when I make a decision is: does this bring me closer to my inner peace or does it take me further away?
I have realized that nothing and no one is worth sacrificing my mental health for. Because one cannot put a price tag on the deep feeling of being in harmony with oneself.
