Pause for a minute with this Tibetan Buddhist Shrine Room, which evokes the Himalayan portals that bridge the mundane and the sacred worlds. It includes more than 200 bronzes, paintings, silk hangings and carpets that were created in Tibet, China and Mongolia between the 13th and early 20th centuries. They’re accompanied by the ethereal sound of chanting monks.
See the room at our @natasianart and join in celebrating the museum’s 100th anniversary. #TheNext100
