PRESENTING THE FRITZ HANSEN DESIGN HALL⁠

A unique retrospective of Danish design: the Design Hall at Fritz Hansen HQ houses a permanent exhibition with eight dedicated display areas set in a 1,600-square metre space once home to Fritz Hansen's manufacturing facility.⁠

The exhibition showcases Fritz Hansen's evolution from a workshop to a world design leader today. Special areas devoted to long-time collaborators Poul Kjærholm and Arne Jacobsen feature prototypes and one-off pieces that straddle art and design. Additionally, a unique feature showcases the time-honoured art craft and quality materials. And finally, an interactive area showcases contemporary constellations of hospitality, workplace, dining, and bar settings to take the Design Hall journey right up to today with a historical understanding of how we got here.⁠

Marie-Louise Høstbo, Creative Design Director at Fritz Hansen, notes that, "Today, co-creation starts with sharing Fritz Hansen's traditions with the architects and designers we collaborate with. The Design Hall is a part of this ongoing dialogue."⁠
