A NICU nurse developing Pampers Preemie Swaddlers unexpectedly delivers her baby early.
“It never occurred to me throughout my pregnancy that my son could potentially wear the product that I was working on,” said Amy Wiford.
Wiford was admitted to the hospital in pre-term labor. That same day, she delivered her son, Theo, at 28 weeks.
Her introduction to motherhood was a 99-day stay in the NICU. Wiford was having a new experience on the other side of the isolette, no longer as a nurse.
Wiford says one of the most normalizing things she could do for her son was change his diaper thanks to @PampersUS Preemie Swaddlers and #PGInnovation.
