They are doing great work, are bipartisan, and have many military, law enforcement, and folks on both sides supporting how they are addressing the constant domestic terrorism in our country via mass shootings. As we approach the one year anniversary of the mass shooting in my hometown of Highland Park, IL, I am so grateful to my friends Doug Lucterhand and @lbpink514 for hosting this event for @march_fourth_ with @エリザベス・バンクス and #marchfourth founder @kittybrandtner. This is a BIPARTISAN organization that only seeks to eliminate the sales of NEW automatic weapons. The number one cause of children dying in our country is guns. And as the doctors who have testified before congress have said, you can’t fix someone shot with an automatic weapon. Let’s come together on this - it’s reasonable and doesn’t take anyone’s guns away. Please follow @march_fourth_ and donate.

• 61% of Americans support a ban on assault weapons in the country, according to a new Fox News poll released in late April 2023.
• Researchers estimate that if we still had a federal Assault Weapon Ban, we’d see 70% fewer mass shootings deaths.
• The US had an assault weapons ban from 1994-2004 + it worked. Let’s do it again.
• There are currently bills in the Senate and the House in support of a federal assault weapons ban. We need to get more co-sponsors + get them to the floor for a vote.
