May roundup — a full, transitory month with lots of friends, food, the end of school, sending off a work project, gardening, dates with my wife, and butterflies everywhere. Not pictured — so many things, including the last day of school and A’s choir concert solo.

1) Client project heading to California.
2) Ethan & Gracie leaving after six weeks parked in our driveway — see you down the road.
3) Mama Bird and her babies at the coffee shop.
4) Ivy & Audi came for dinner and we had homemade wings, Mac and cheese, a giant wedge salad.
5) Impromptu dinner that turned out delicious.
6) Loads of reading and writing pages.
7) After a cold spring, planting lavender, rosemary, flowers.
8) Looking just like she did on our first date, just a little grayer and her eyes a little crinklier.
9) Over and over, this card.
10) ‘Butterfly wings’ on the trail while out for a run.
