Never thought we would say this about a hotel but perfection has indeed arrived in the Athens hotel scene in the form of @thedolliacropolis. We will write more about this gem in our journal later, but here are a few preview images highlighting some of the features that blew us away in this property that combines assuredly the ancient soul of the city with its vibrant contemporary energy.

The view, of course, of the Parthenon and the Acropolis is breathtaking. It is made even more impressive when viewed through the enormous windows of the 46 exceptionally high and vast suites of this boutique hotel that is in fact a 1925 neoclassical building completely reimagined.

The suites are impeccably appointed and feature a higher level of standards we haven’t seen anywhere else. From pillows to bathrooms and furnishings to original art, absolutely everything is supremely curated. And we don’t know where to start with the food. It surpassed all expectations and surprised us at every turn.

The rooftop infinity pool tops it all off literally and figuratively.
