The #SothebysNOW Evening Auction at #SothebysLondon is off to a flying start with @michaelmacaulay at the rostrum.

An image taken in the late 1980s that has become a leitmotif throughout the artist’s career, Arthur Jafa’s ‘Monster’ (1988) achieves a new auction record for Jafa after selling for $178k / £139k, more than double its high estimate.
