Dry in the morning, Start raining just before 1st rider on the course 🌧and then….Hail 🌨Thunder ⚡️massive rain 🌧 = Suspended➰Canceled Stage 1 @girodonneofficial 🥺 in the middle of the race.

It means half of peloton raced and other half didn’t. And some riders crashed unfortunately on super slippery road 🧼 Luckily I raced less raining moment 😮‍💨
Nobody expected the way to kick off Giro. But it’s stage race = to be continued the race whatever. Already big climb is coming ⛰on stage 2 🙄
