Queen Latifah on auditioning for the iconic role of ‘Chicago’s Matron “Mama” Morton.

Her performance earned her an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the 75th Academy Awards. ‘Chicago’ went on to win Oscars for Actress in a Supporting Role (Catherine Zeta-Jones), Art Direction, Costume Design, Film Editing, Sound and Best Picture.
