Actors Strike Day One.
One adjustment actors are fighting for is fair RESIDUAL payments!
The #AMPTP the entity represents the big studios, is refusing to adjust our residual payments to deal with the Streaming revenue.
Our contracts were based on a 40 year old model that no longer applies.
AMPTP/Studios have not negotiated for a fair share when it comes to streaming.
The studios walked away from negotiations saying “Actors were being unrealistic” in their expectations.
Well, let me share this with you and then you let me know what you think.
